Osprey were once again crowned House Winners for 2012. A delighted Head of House, Daniel Lee and the Osprey House Captains collected the trophy from Headteacher Nick Wilson. There were over 400 competitors taking part in this year’s Gala, with some amazing individual performances. A total of 9 records were broken on the day. The Outstanding Female Swimmer of the Day Award went to Aleena Fazli for breaking records in the 25m Butterfly and 50m Freestyle. This year, the Outstanding Male Swimmer Award was presented to both Shane McCarthy, breaking the 50m Backstroke record and Faris Brough for breaking the record for the 25m Butterfly. All competitors and officials showed great sportsmanship on this great occasion.
