Giving Thanks
In recognition of the sterling work our cleaners do for us in the Senior School, Ms Woolf and Ms Owen rallied staff, asking them to “dig deep” for our winter collection for the cleaners. Staff flocked to our Christmas Coffee Shop event in the staff room during the last week of term. Delicious home-baking was offered on our bake stall, ably manned by Ms Owen and Mrs Ward. There was also a second hand DVD and book stall managed by Ms Woolf. Our “Guess the weight of the Christmas cake” competition raised further funds for this worthy cause. Over 500 dinars, raised by our generous staff, was presented by Mr Wilson to our cleaning team, just before the Winter holidays.
