Celebrating Bahrain
St Christopher’s School held its National Day celebrations under the sponsorship of HE Khaled bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice and HE Hisham Al-Jowder, President of the General Organisation for Youth and Sports (GOYS).
The event included a musical show about the history of Bahrain since the Dilmun era, pearl diving, traditional children’s games, songs and dances. A surprise performance of a fraisa dance was given by a traditional band.
All the children and staff of the Infant and Junior Schools came in dressed in red and white and had a fabulous day celebrating Bahrain culture and heritage.
Nursery Celebrates National DayThe hall was decorated in Bahrain flags and colours, the children were dressed in red and white clothes and the scene was set for the Nursery National Day super celebrations (with a little bit of a festive twist and sparkle!). The party started with a huge array of food to feast on, and then the lights were dimmed for dancing. Faces were painted and flags were waved to celebrate this wonderful day. Everyone in Nursery had a fabulous time. Thanks to all the Mums, Dads and friends who came to help and boogie with us!
