Feathers and Fur
During the week of March 10, the children from Nursery and Reception went on an outing to Al Areen Wildlife Park.
In the week prior to the trip, the teachers talked about the animals with their classes and showed the children pictures of the creatures they would be seeing. Special activities for the children focused on the different animals and their habitats. Armed with clipboards and information, the intrepid explorers excitedly roamed around the park spotting the birds and animals that they had been learning about. When NB children could not find the red fox, Alfie said “Aren’t foxes nocturnal, Mrs Baker?” Well done for remembering your learning! Thank you to the parents for their invaluable involvement.
