Oh Man! The Challenge of Oman!
In February, seventy two students and ten staff travelled to Oman for the Bronze International Award Expedition. The students completed a demanding 3 day trek into Wadi Tiwi and Wadi Shab. They enjoyed fabulous weather and incredible scenery. The reward at the end of the trek was a refreshing swim in the cool waters of the wadi.
The students were challenged both physically and mentally but were guided and supported by both St Chris staff and the members of the Outward Bound team who provided logistical support. It was a truly memorable experience and many of the staff and students would have gladly stayed for another weekend. The students are now busily preparing their presentations for the Bronze Award evening.
