Houses Made of Strong Stuff
The term ended with one of our fun-packed House assemblies. Led by the House captains who danced their way down the centre of the hall.
The first thing to celebrate was the successful Infant Sports Days. Nursery to Year 2 watched themselves in action on the big screen impressing all with their ‘Gangnam Style’ dance. The video also included Maths Day, Inter-House Sports and the Junior Inter-House Swimming Galas.
Miss Lambert took her chance to be a game show host with ‘Boggle’ set as the challenge to Mr Tonks, and the Falcon House Captains, Mr Brandreth and the Kestrel House Captains, Mrs Jardine and the Merlin House Captains and Mrs Clarke with the Osprey House Captains. Boggle is a fantastic word game based on iPad and with the iPad connected to the big screen, everyone in the audience could find as many words as possible in the one minute time limit. It was clear that we have some genius coming through from Nursery!
Well done to Kestrel who were the overall winners of Boggle, and who are also leading the way on the House point scoreboard!
The House Captains made it a fun way to end the term!
