Ooh La La!
The parents of Year 3 children had been asked to keep the afternoons of Monday 17 and Thursday 20 June free between 1.15 and 2.15pm. These were the times when the amazing French Travel Fairs were held in the Year 3 classrooms!
All the children had enthusiastically researched four of the most exciting areas of France (Paris, Brittany, French Alps and the Camargue regions) to explore their suitability for a fictitious school trip or a holiday by a family with children.
The valuable facts and useful details that they gathered were composed into helpful holiday leaflets that were displayed and given out on a number of stalls during the events.
Many parents attended and were amazed by the information provided by each class. I am sure that the Year 3 children have performed wonders for French travel and tourism!
