Swimming Like Fish
Year 1 and 2 had great fun in their annual swim galas. Both year groups were bursting with excitement before getting into the water. They showed fantastic front crawl and backstroke techniques, while putting every effort into swimming with the motorbike noodles, frogboards and diving through the hoops to pick up sinking toys. They also showed that their PE lessons hadn’t gone to waste when they threw the water polo balls into the basketball net and water polo goal. After scoring points at each of the activities, Mrs Dawson and Mrs Sandy had the daunting task of calculating all the points – and there were a lot! Well done to everyone! You swam like fish!
