Two in One
Stephanie Kaleta, an Australian triathlete, visited St Christopher’s School on her way back to Oz after representing Australia in this year’s ITU World Triathlon Championships in London.
During the half term holiday, Stephanie ran some sports clinics in two of her disciplines, swimming and running. She also ran a transition session in preparation for the on-site Aquathlon that took place on Friday 18 October. Students competed for medals in the following distances and everyone received a signed certificate.
Under 12 DISTANCE 400m SWIM (16 lengths) followed by 1km RUN (approx)
Under 14 DISTANCE 600m SWIM (24 lengths) followed by 2km RUN (approx)
Under 16 DISTANCE 600m SWIM (24 lengths) followed by 2km RUN (approx)
Under 18 DISTANCE 800m SWIM (32 lengths) followed by 3km RUN (approx)

A special mention goes to Rafae Main-Cudmore in 6D who received a special gift of elastic laces from Stephanie to help with his transition. Well done to Alex Kehoe who came as a special guest.
