Junior Girls Football
Following on from a very successful BSME Tournament, where the BSME Junior Girl Champions did not concede a goal, they played a number of hard fought matches to come out on top of the League table. BSB ran the team the closest, drawing 1-1 until the last 5 minutes of the match where a superb effort from our Player of the Match, Bruna Elias, scoring the winning goal. Running with the ball out from our defense, she beat five players to go one on one with the Goalkeeper, she then coolly slotted the ball into the bottom left hand corner. The League Tournament was hotly contested and, due to a goal drought, St Chris drew three of the matches. As a result, although unbeaten and having not conceded a goal, St Chris finished as Runners-up to BSB. There are a number of friendly matches now organised for the March calendar, including a match against the Bahraini National Under 14 team this week!
