Dancing through the decades – Year 6 style
Delicious food, beautifully decorated tables, bouncing balloons………was this the Ritz Carlton Friday Brunch? No, it was Year 6 History Day – an opportunity for the children to celebrate the end of their history unit, “Changes in Britain since 1948.” On this day, children dressed in costumes of their decade, took part in a quiz and performed songs and dances from their decade. A big thank you to the music department for preparing the songs and dances so well, and to the children themselves for their entertaining performances. It was a wonderful day enjoyed by all.
