Rock ‘n’ Pop Concert
The Rock ‘n’ Pop Concert, held on Friday 9 May, showcased the young talent of St Christopher’s Senior School. All performers were from either Year 7 or Year 9, and it was a delight to see them express their inner rock or pop star to an enthusiastic and full audience. The presence of Friends of St Christopher’s (FOSC) parents at the event was highly appreciated and the memorabilia they sold helped create a buzzing atmosphere for all to enjoy. The line-up included rock classics such as ‘Seven Nation Army’ and ‘Time of Your Life’ as well as rap and pop tunes like Nas’s famous track ‘I can’ and a great version of Christina Aguilera’s ‘Fighter’. As usual, the students performed like professionals and represented not only the Senior School Music Department but the whole St Christopher’s Community incredibly well.
