Let Music Grow!
It’s been another busy term making music in the Infant and Junior Schools, as you can see, culminating in the Summer Concert 2014. This was a great celebration of the musical practice that has taken place over the year. The children really shone during their performances and a varied programme, with an overall theme ‘Let Music Grow! ’ dreamt up by two of our St Chris musicians. The children bowed, strummed, sang, and performed pieces from the classical era to present day. Around 230 children took part, which is a clear indication of how important music is at St Christopher’s School. Congratulations to all performers, including our Year 6 leavers for a sparkling evening of musical entertainment.
