St Christopher’s School’s Annual Prize Day took place on Monday 23 June 2014 at the Saar Auditorium. The event, which was attended by over five hundred honoured guests, students, parents and teachers, celebrated a range of exceptional student achievements, primarily from Year 8 to Year 12. Following the opening address by Head of Senior School, Mr Nick Wilson, the large audience was highly appreciative of three excellent musical performances. The Senior School Choir sang Let It Go, Matthew Holman played The Swan by Saint-Saens on Cello accompanied by Mrs Liz Holman on Piano and Arnold Brass performed Three Sea Shanties. Subject Prizes, Honourable Mentions and Trophies were awarded by the Principal, Mr Ed Goodwin, by School Governor, Mrs Suha Matar and by the Guest of Honour for the evening, Deputy Ambassador, British Embassy Bahrain, Mr Russ Dixon. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Head Girl, Hana Nasif and Head Boy, Milan Malik. The Principal, Mr Ed Goodwin, gave the closing address. Congratulations to all Prize Winners.
