Solving Dilemmas
Ten Year 13 students attended a Critical Thinking workshop, led by Mr Adrian Walker, on Saturday 13 September. All of the students are preparing to take the LNAT (Law), BMAT (Medicine) or TSA (for various courses) university entrance tests in the next few months. A range of Case Studies were examined, looking at the argument structures, flaws and assumptions. The Case Studies included some moral dilemmas facing doctors, principles encountered in legal cases and a video from Phineas & Ferb!
