Busy Bookworms
November brought our first ever outdoor Book Fair as we welcomed Bookcase back to Saar. The new location proved extremely popular with pupils and parents alike. The new Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, The Long Haul, had only been released a few days earlier, so the book fair could not have been timed better. As you can imagine it was much sought after and Bookcase sold out before the fair finished on Tuesday. With a great selection of books and activity packs lots of parents took the opportunity to do a little early festive shopping! The discounted cookery books were a particular hit with both parents and staff. A special thank you to all parents who supported the book fair, the library benefitted from over 500 new books thanks to you!
