On Sunday 30 November the Romans invaded Britain once again at the Cultural Hall when the cast from Horrible Histories returned to Bahrain with their show, Barmy Britons Part 2!
This year we saw how Boudicca attempted to defeat the mighty Roman Army; how Queen Elizabeth I lived back in the terrible Tudor period; how Charles I ‘lost his head’ when defeated by Oliver Cromwell and how the Black Death decimated Europe in the middle ages.
The Birmingham Theatre Company were fabulous as usual, and entertained the children ‘panto’ style from start to finish. The children were up in the seats singing along throughout the performance and we all look forward to seeing them return again next year with Barmy Britons Part 3!
