Shake up Dem Bones
On Tuesday 18 November, many parents, some grandparents, siblings and nannies were wowed by the children of Year 1 as they performed their cantata, Mr Skellybones. As the pictures attest, the show was a resounding success – all children sang their songs beautifully and danced their dances with gusto, and the narrators delivered their lines with fluency and confidence.
Parents were so charmed and disarmed by the event that, at the end of the cantata, Mr Evans even persuaded them to join in with ‘Heads, shoulders, knees and toes’. The Cantata was a charity event, in aid of the School’s Go Global campaign. We are very pleased to announce that the Cantata raised a whopping BD645 for the campaign. Well done and thank you to all involved!
