Celebrating a Nation
St Christopher’s Infant and Junior Schools were proud to celebrate Bahrain National Day on December 11. As part of their Bahrain Arabic Heritage Day, over 1000 children, from ages 3 to 12, were involved in celebrations which featured Bahraini activities, and a celebration of Bahraini culture, music, traditions and foods. The staff and children relished the opportunity to take part in the creating Arabic handicrafts. Other traditional activities included henna, Arabic calligraphy, falconry, enamel and ceramic painting and basket weaving.
