Create, Sell, Win
The Festive Fayre saw the collaboration of Year 6 and Year 7 students working together to design and make festive decorations. The products were designed by Year 6 and manufactured using the laser cutter by their peers in Year 7. The stall was manned by the students, selling some fantastic acrylic tree decorations and key rings.
In addition there was a raffle organised, with the star prize of a framed, signed Lewis Hamilton Formula 1 shirt, which was kindly donated. We were also very lucky to have a beautiful Wahab Kooheji framed print, as well as a limited edition Aston Martin print. Due to the generous support of parents, staff and students we raised a fantastic BD 347, divided between Tony the Dogfather and FOSC.
We would like to thank the Year 6 and Year 7 students and staff for their hard work at both the Festive Fayre and the selling of the raffle tickets for both charities, Mr David Axtell, Stuart Green and Lewis Hamilton for their valued time during the 2014 Grand Prix season. We would also like to thank Adam Kooheji and Wahab Kooheji of Arabesque Framing and the Bahrain International Circuit for their continued support in Formula 1 in Schools.
We would like to congratulate Vicky Hunt on winning the Formula 1 signed shirt, Kirsty McKay for the Wahab Kooheji framed print and Bradley Altman 8F and Alex Ditchfield 7F for winning their Aston Martin prints. We are sure they were all be delighted with their prizes.
