Let Us Light Up Your Life
On the 26 and 27 February, the Drama department had a visiting lighting expert come over from the UK to train staff and students on the new lighting board in the Drama Hall. Six members of staff and thirteen students took part in the training, and all agreed that it was excellent. New skills were learnt by all and will be utilised by many students when designing and operating lights for productions and as a GCSE/A Level option. Tyler Holpin, the trainer, was very impressed by the students and commented on how much more quickly they mastered the more complex technical aspects of the board than the teachers!
