Lets Really Talk!
The purpose of the trip was to extend the debating skills and debating knowledge of St Christopher’s students and staff, and thus enrich the expertise in this field at the School. In these ambitions it was entirely successful. The ‘electives’, debating seminars, between debates on various subjects and techniques exceeded expectations. The days were very full and the tournament, which began after three days of the course, was tough, with some expert national teams, or equivalent, competing. We had twelve students participating, from Year 9 to Year 12: I hope they learned both from both their defeats and their triumphs! Certainly a trip worth repeating.
