A Week of Words
The Arabic Department held its third Arabic Story Writing Week from the 10-14 April. The aim of the week was to improve writing skills in general and story writing in particular. The programme of the week was as follows:
- Reading Arabic short stories
- Worksheets on the skill of writing
- By the end of the week every student to write their own story
All sessions took place during Arabic classes and the Arabic staff prepared special materials for the week to suit all the standards in the Department. In addition, during this week we invited the author Fatima Sharafeddine and she shared some of her books with the children.
