Dedicated to Training

You may think that our swim programme stops over the holidays, but thanks to the dedication and commitment from our Head Coach, Mr Yavor we have been able to run some holiday swim training sessions for our more advanced swimmers.

Swim Training

In our half term sessions, more than 22 swimmers attended every session. These sessions were gruelling with a combination of land training and pool work, lasting for over two and a half hours each day. Each swimmer completed stretching and strength work on land and then swam over 4km each session.

During our Easter holiday another camp took place, this time lasting for seven days and a total of 30 swimmers took on the challenge. Not only did they improve their stamina, attitude, performance and competitive swimming they used yoga to focus on their flexibility.
