The Sovereign Art Foundation and The Royal Charity Organisation
On Thursday 17 March, two Year 12 Art Students, Ghazi Al Ruffai and Farah Dailami, attended the launch of the Sovereign Art Foundation’s Schools Prize 2016 event, which took place in the Capital Club. The students, who represented the Art departments in the Infant, Junior and Senior Schools, were invited to talk about their artwork to the assembled audience, comprising organisers of the event and School Principals and students from across Bahrain. A range of artwork from across St Christopher’s School was displayed. Selected pieces were exhibited at the Third Charity Art Exhibition which took place from 12-19 April. All proceeds of the participating students’ artwork sale will go to the Royal Charity Organisation, which supports 5,000 orphaned children in Bahrain.
