Sponsored Read for Feed The Need
On Thursday 14 April the children and teachers in Year 2 read were totally lost in reading for 30 minutes, to raise money for the Feed The Need, the charity supported through service projects in the year group.
As this is being written money is still pouring in from the sponsors found by the children and currently the total is somewhere in excess of BD1400.
This staggering amount will make an extraordinary difference to a huge number of migrant workers here in Bahrain. It is likely that these funds will be spent on well over 2000 biryani meals. Feeding so many people from our children’s efforts is an amazing achievement and I am so proud of them for their kindness and amazing efforts this year!
