A Dark History
On October 6th, the whole of Key Stage 2 were treated to a performance by the Horrible Histories theatre group. Through music, dance and dialogue they took us on a journey through some of the darkest times in British history. We learned how Boudicca tried to knock the Romans down a peg or two. Henry 8th told us in person about his six wives, and we also saw Guy Fawkes on ‘Who Wants To Blow Up Parliament’. The children all had a thoroughly enjoyable time singing and dancing, whilst learning about some of Britain’s most gruesome characters in history.
