A Moment of Musical Magic
Unplugged XII took place on Thursday 20 October at the Senior School. It was a fantastic event that included musical performances from over the last 40 years. The concert was filled with relaxing covers, some with poignant messages. Sisters Priscilla and Lydia Wapshaka did an incredible performance of Beyoncé’s Freedom which got the audience clapping along and engaged.
Will Shepherd-Smith in Year 9 blew everybody away with his version of Angie, a Rolling Stones classic and the four Year 10 girls, Yasmin, Jasmine, Krtvi and Youstina performed their own creative arrangement of Send my Love by Adele. The evening was rounded off with a powerful and moving performance by Luke Wilson in Year 11, his version of Hallelujah was a perfect end to an exceptional night of music.
