The Art Department welcomed visiting artist Irena Boobyer on 15 November. A former teacher, based in Devon in England, Irena specialises in paper cutting techniques. An enthusiastic group of Key Stage 3 students attended the workshop, where Irena demonstrated the techniques she uses, and she also presented examples of paper cut art from different cultures. The participating students also had the opportunity to make their own festive paper cuts after Irena’s presentation.
