Tut, Tut what a Day!
As the climax of their studies into life in ancient Egypt, the Year 3 children enjoyed a feast of learning experiences on the 9 November.
The children and staff looked fantastic in their beautiful costumes related to the period. Mummies, Pharaohs, Gods and Goddesses were all in attendance.
A scrumptious feast was enthusiastically consumed along the length of the activity street and a vast array of topic related activities were completed in each classroom. These included making hieroglyphic bookmarks, Ancient Egyptian necklaces, dynamic freeze-frames and waging war against the marauding Hittite army! The day also included a whole year group dancing and singing session with Mrs Marshall!
A thoroughly rewarding, stimulating and pleasurable time was experienced by all the children.
