Sharks for the Gold
Our Sharks Swim Team were busy on the weekend of 20 October. Not only did we host the 3rd St Christopher’s Charity swim gala, but four of our swim team members travelled to Dubai to compete in the Hamilton Aquatics Short Course swim meet.
This competition was hosted over two days at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Sports Complex. The event run very smoothly and the organisation was faultless. Some of our swimmers took on the long distance events of 400m while other focused on sprint distance races. All our swimmers set personal goals on achieving target times linked to the qualifying times in their home country national competitions.
Our swimmers managed to beat many of their personal bests and left with 11 medals.
Congratulations to Sana Le Falher, Asma Le Falher, Amalie Nielsen and Roma Vrijhof
