Cleaning Up!
Saturday 27 January saw the annual clean-up of Al Asry beach by over forty staff, families and friends of the Senior, Junior and Infant schools. The team set to work at 10.00 am and, commendably, were able to shift over fifty big bags of rubbish. Some of the old hands that have cleaned this beach for the last five years were disappointed about the lack of big finds like the carpets, sofa and mattresses from previous years. The weather was lovely and warm, and we left the beach in a much cleaner state for the families of Bahrain to come and enjoy.
