Royalty on Parade
Year 1 Knights and Princesses Day was a right royal success! The year group was awash with knights, princesses, kings, queens and even a knight riding a dragon! After parading through the school in their finery, everyone settled down to a huge range of royal activities. From making castles and shields to firing catapults and having sword fights, from decorating drinking goblets and drawing knights to making wands and flying dragons. The children certainly built up an appetite for their royal feast of cheese, fruit, pies and bread, in keeping with the time. Thank you so much for your help and support in providing such wonderful costumes for your children – it really is appreciated.
