Hooray! Our Trip to Bahrain Bay!
Year 5 had a fantastic visit to the Bahrain Bay development on the 26 February.
Each year we undertake a geographical study to investigate land reclamation and land usage across the island. It is so much more effective – and enjoyable – to get out of the classroom and see, with your own eyes, how the land is being reclaimed and developed.
A big thank you to Mr Sweeney and his team for preparing the presentation and for being prepared for the barrage of questions! On our return, the children utilised the photographs and videos to help them to create their own interactive aerial map of Bahrain Bay using the ThingLink app.
It was a memorable and worthwhile day.
