Adventure Residential to Umm Al Quwain, UAE
On Tuesday 20 March this year, 54 of our adventurous Year 6 pupils travelled to Umm Al Quwain in the UAE as part of the St Chris Award. Over the next four days, the children were stretched both physically and mentally by the activities they were encouraged to take part in. At times, they were pushed beyond their limit, but they approached all activities with great spirit and determination. The residential was much more than this, though. Lots of friendships were forged or reinforced, many a laugh was had and some wonderful memories were created. Every one of the St Chris Award pupils behaved impeccably at all times and the staff team that took them were extremely proud of them from start tom finish. A truly great time was had by all.
