Information for the Future
On Monday evening 16 April 2018, Year 12 students and their parents attended an Information Evening in the Drama Hall relating to the application process for universities in the USA and Canada. Ms Al Hammoud, USA/Canada Counsellor and Head of Year 13, made a detailed presentation relating to all aspects of applying to North American universities and Year 13 student, Saamia Zia, who has received an offer from Brown University, USA and Yazan Al Katanani, who has received an offer from the University of Waterloo, Canada, made addresses outlining their own experiences, offering a number of tips and advice to those present. Following the presentation, students and parents were invited to ask individual questions of Ms Al Hammoud, Mr Wilson, Head of Senior School, Mr Keeble, Deputy Head of Senior School and Mr Beck, Head of Year 12. The audience were highly appreciative of the information provided.
