St Christopher’s Year 7 winners of UK Junior Maths Challenge Awards for 2017- 18.
The UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) is a registered charity whose aim is to advance the education of children and young people in mathematics. 80 students from Years 7 and 8 took part in the competition along with around 200000 other students worldwide. The top 40% of competitors receive Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards in the ratio 3:2:1. In Year 7, 3 students achieved Gold Awards, 5 students achieved Silver Awards and 10 Students achieved Bronze Awards. Hashim Alsharaf achieved the Best in Year Award and the Best in School Award.
