The Year 7 Coffee afternoon hosted a large number of students and their parents. The event was so well attended that the groups had to be split over two venues. After a short, informal introduction by Mrs Sarah Gillard and Mr David Williams, parents had the opportunity to have a guided tour of the school by their son or daughter, as well as to meet with their child’s form tutor. The feedback from parents was positive about the transition process from Junior to Senior School. There were also a number of baked goods, provided by Year 7 students to be enjoyed at the event. The atmosphere was very relaxed and parents appreciated the opportunity to touch base with the Year 7 pastoral team.
