The DELF (Diploma in French Language Studies) is an official diploma issued by the French Ministry of Education. The diploma certifies the French-language abilities for non-native speakers, has a lifelong validity and is recognised in 170 countries.
On Saturday 4 May 2019, 31 St Christopher’s Senior School students successfully passed the DELF examinations, achieving one of the highest grades in Bahrain in all four categories of the DELF (A1, A2, B1 and B2).
St Christopher’s Senior School Highest Performers:
Natalya Dimassi achieved the highest grade for the A1 examination (95%) closely followed by Asad Rizvi, who achieved an overall grade of 94.5%.
Aira Ashraf achieved the highest grade for the A2 examination (92.5%), with Amy Irani coming a close second with an overall grade of 91%
Anna Philine Klein achieved the highest grade for the B1 examination (88 %)
Vansh Patel achieved the highest grade for the B2 examination with a 79.5% overall grade. For reference the B2 level is a requirement to gain access to study in a French university.
