Sixty students from Year 7 and Year 8 participated in the UK Junior Maths Challenge in April last term. We were one of around 4000 schools, with upwards of 300,000 students, involved in the competition. Our students achieved 9 Gold, 13 Silver and 11 Bronze awards. Sam Catchpole received Gold along with the Best in Year 8 Award and Siddarth Rout received the Gold, Best in Year 7, Best in School and a Merit in the follow-up round: The Junior Mathematical Olympiad!
