Revvvvved up

Speedy, the BIC mascot led Grand Prix visits to St Christopher’s Infant, Junior and Senior Schools in the build-up to the Bahrain GP that takes place 19- 21 April, at the Sakhir circuit.

The popular mascot, dressed in his signature white race suit, raised the profile of the upcoming event and spoke to the youngsters about the range of fun and engaging entertainment acts that have been lined up for the three-day spectacle.

Speedy also posed in photographs with the students and delighted them when he handed out brochures, posters, t-shirts, caps, badges, stickers and other race memorabilia.

Over 50 students from the Formula 1 in Schools teams and 7A learned about various aspects of motoring, including safety precautions related to racing, techniques used in various races, and facts and figures about the equipment used at BIC, “the Home of Motorsport in the Middle East.” Our students are revved up for the exciting and spectacular event.
