Medals from Muscat

A small, but elite band of dedicated swimmers punched well above their weight in the recent BSME Long Course Swimming Championships. There were a number of outstanding performances. Cheyma Le Falher won the High Point award for the 13-14 Girls with new records in the 100m and 200m Freestyle. Rebecca Carpenter won the High Point award for the 9-10 girls with 4 gold medals. Yaseen Le Falher won Bronze in the High Point award. Shane McCarthy set a record in the 100m Backstroke and Louise Leijonberg won the 50m Butterfly. Each of the 10 swimmers took home a medal and swam faster than they ever had before. It really was an incredibly successful day for the St Christopher’s swimmers.
