Running Against Cancer

On Sunday 21 April, Mr V ran London! The energy flowed for all 26 miles/42k of the London Marathon and he made personal history with a finish time of 04:07:21.

Upon completing the run, he said “It was a huge honour to run the London Marathon – the amazing support from the hundreds of thousands of people who lined the streets of London and from all those back home in Bahrain helped me forget the pain in my legs. Thanks you to everyone who helped me cross that finish line.” He thanked the St Christopher’s School community for their messages of support.

Mr V has proudly raised over £2300 for CLIC Sargent. CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help children cope with cancer and get the most out of life. If you would still like to donate, Click Here
