Shiver Me Timbers!

Marauding pirates were seen around the Year 2 Activity Street this week, hunting for treasure, designing their own pirate flags and singing sea shanties to their parents.  They also found the time to raid the Year 3 classrooms, pilfering rulers, pencils and even children!  Giles Dawson, the Year 3 leader, was distraught when forced to pay a ransom of 5 gold coins for the safe return of one of his students!  Alice from 2A said, “It was brilliant!  The best part of the day was the treasure hunt.”  The day was made truly worthwhile when a parent was heard saying, “My son wishes it could be Pirate Day every day!”
