Girls Football – IntermediateTEAM PHOTO

On Sunday 16 February 2014, the Intermediate Girls Football Team rounded off a successful and competitive season with the Bahrain Private Schools Sports League Tournament which was hosted by Riffa Views International School.  The Tournament was a fantastic opportunity for all teams in the League to meet schools that they had already come up against during the season for one last time.  The St Christopher’s Girls, captained by Lauren Moir, made a great start, winning their double header against RVIS, also placing them at the top of the League.  The Tournament continued well for the Girls, losing one, drawing one and winning four of their matches.  The girls’ superb performance helped them to win the Tournament, with excellent football played by Lauren Moir, Phoebe Licence, Ella Huckvale, Razan Al Musawi, Sajida Mercer, Aarti Rangarajan, Rayeh Al Khalifa, Lamis McDowell-Rose, Gabriella Deakin and Natascha Rosemann.  A huge congratulations to the girls on all their hard work.
