BSME Swim Championships

On the 28 March 2014, 25 students from St Christopher’s Junior and Senior Schools travelled to Muscat, Oman, to compete in the BSME swim championships. Over 380 swimmers from 20 schools competed in the dual in the pool, and battled it out for victory in the water. Our ‘sharks’ gained 30 gold medals, 14 silver medals, 8 bronze medals and a multitude of ribbons. Congratulations to Louise Leijonberg, Cheyma Le Falher, Quentin Botha and Dylan Morgan for winning trophies for the highest points scored. We also broke the following BSME Swim records; Louise Leijonberg 100m butterfly in 1:13.76, Cheyma Le Falher 50m backstroke in 34.33, Quentin Botha 50m backstroke in 32.19. Well done to all our swimmers who exceeded our expectations in effort, attitude and achievement.
