The 5th annual Year 6 and Year 7 Celebration of Achievement ceremony took place on Sunday 22 June. This was another wonderful event aimed at celebrating the achievements of our Year 6 students as they come to the end of an era and progress to the Senior School and for our Year 7 students as they conclude their first year at the Senior School. Following the welcoming address, delivered by Mrs Bataineh, Head of Junior School, an eloquent team of students took to the stage to read out the names of each award recipient. Awards ranged from Academic Achievement, Outstanding Progress, Community Service, Global Citizenship, Effort, Form Tutor Prizes, Autonomous Learner Awards and Class Peer Prizes. A highlight of the event was the address from Mr Goodwin and the awarding of the prestigious Principal’s Award to Digby Rushton in Year 6 and to Donovan Worrall in Year 7. Our gratitude goes to the students who announced the Awards, entertained the large audience of proud parents and teachers with a number of musical items but special congratulations to all Award winners.
