Intermediate Girls Volleyball

League and Tournament Winners

The Intermediate Girls Volleyball Team had an exceptional season!  Twenty girls attended practice every Thursday, which made it a very strong squad and a difficult decision for coach Melissa Gut and Helen Stewart to choose from.  We had seven schools to play against in the BPSSL league.  As you can see, we won them all!

The Volleyball season was fantastic and the team had a great experience. We were all thrilled to be both League and Tournament Champions. The BPSSL end of season Tournament took place at St Christopher’s School.  We knew it would be tough, being the League Winners. We tried our best, and we beat Bayan School in the Final.

As a player, I have learnt a variety of new skills and I am really proud of the team for the effort they have made.  This season brought us some new challenges that we worked hard for and we, as a team, collaborated and communicated in an effective manner to get the job done! Overall, the Volleyball season has been a great one for us girls, we have had lots of fun during the season and on behalf of the team, I would like to say a huge thank you to both our coaches, Helen Stewart and Melissa Gut. We have learnt a great deal and we wish to carry this experience on, in the future.
