The Mysteries of the Medical World
Twenty five students from Years 10 to 13 took part in our second ‘Medics Mini Conference’ on Saturday 5 September. Dr David Misselbrook from RCSi Bahrain led the event, explaining the different branches of Medicine and giving some personal examples of what he described as ‘The Best Job in the World.’
We were also fortunate to be joined by recent alumni Aatif and Zain Husain, Ellie Wilson and Bhanavi Kinger. Our current students gained a great deal from their tips on university admissions tests and how to develop an interesting university personal statement. The conference was rounded off by some lively debates, led by Mr Adrian Walker, about ethical issues that face medical professionals.
