A Proud Moment

St Christopher’s School’s Annual Prize Day took place on Monday 12 June 2017 at the Saar Auditorium. The event, which was attended by over six hundred honoured guests, students, parents, teachers and School Governors, celebrated a range of exceptional student achievements, primarily from Year 8 to Year 12. Following the opening address by Head of Senior School, Mr Nick Wilson, the large audience was highly appreciative of three excellent musical performances. Pianist, Thomas Milnes, played Etude by Paul Czerny, Trombonist, Marco Maggi, played Thoughts of Love by Arthur Pryor and the SenCris Guitar Ensemble performed Nyah by Hans Zimmer. Following an address by Guest of Honour, His Excellency, Mr Simon Martin CMG, British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Awards and Trophies were presented to students by School Principal, Mr Ed Goodwin OBE, Deputy Chair of the Board of Governors, Mr David Axtell and Mr Simon Martin. The Ceremony concluded with an address by Mr Ed Goodwin and the Vote of Thanks proposed by Head Girl, Aarti Rangarajan and Head Boy, Shane McCarthy. Congratulations to all Award recipients.
